Snapdragons
Snapdragons have been around since the Roman Empire. They are one of the most common flowers and come in a variety of colors. Beautiful and bright, snapdragons make the perfect accent or standalone flower in any arrangement. A spiked, terminal raceme with multiple florets. The florets are shaped like little dragon heads, with upper and lower lips which will open when you gently squeeze the sides of the blossom. Purple, pink, blue, white, yellow and red. Snapdragons are very geotropic. One must realize that their tips will turn up if they are angled sharply in a floral design.
